On Saturday July 14, 2012 a careful search was conducted at 15 properties on Mirror Lake in an effort to find exemplary spots for rain gardens and water management sites. Surprisingly, large trees with roots, the location of septic systems, wells and other structures, inhibited the search. We found plenty of those! Dusty Davies, Kathy Sciarappa, and an engineer from Geosyntec met with road agents, both formal and informal, and other interested Mirror Lake residents on Mirror Lake Drive, Route 109, Church Lane, Acorn Way, Oak Hill Drive, Chipmunk Lane and Museum Shores. The information, photos and comments from all are being thoroughly considered before final sites are selected.
